Miss MS Volunteer Teen 2022
As the official makeup sponsor for Miss Ms Volunteer Pageant we are excited to introduce you to Elaina Uzzle Miss Ms Volunteer Teen 2022!
Elaina is a 16-year-old native of Lawrence County, Mississippi, honors student, and upcoming Junior at Lawrence County High School. She has been a varsity cheerleader, won numerous citizenship awards, is a student of Law and Public Safety and Teacher Academy, and was recognized for her Ted Talk on mental health.
The Miss MS Volunteer pageant has teamed up with Mississippi highway patrol D.R.I.V.E campaign again for 2022. The program’s goal is to speak to high schoolers to encourage them to drive safely and reduce team fatalities from driving accidents. To learn more about this you can follow this link.
Elaina’s platform focuses on mental health and suicide. “Mental health affects everyone. After losing my best friend to suicide in January 2021, mental health and suicide became close to home for me. I lost my grandfather to suicide when I was 11," Uzzle said. "When I lost my best friend to suicide, I made it a mission to help save as many people as I possibly can. There's no face for suicide.” She hopes to write a Sunsets for Suicide book to show that everyone goes through their own battle with mental health. Her platform has helped guide her to wanting to become a lawyer. “When people are going through times where they need a lawyer, they're going through a very vulnerable state.
