Compacts vs Pallets

If you have ever wondered what the difference between compacts and pallets are, trust us you're not alone. We get questions about this quite often. Makeup artists know they can't carry around 50+ eyeshadow and blush compacts in their kits. They are just to bulky and take up too much space. Makeup artists need their kits to be as organized and reduced down as much as possible. That's why pans and pallets are the way to go for them. The pans have a metal backing and magnetically click into the pallet. Everything they need in a few pallets laid out in front of them and ready to go.

However, pans are also great for us regular girls too! If you love makeup and have a ton of eyeshadows and blushes then pans/pallets is a great solution. In a nutshell pans/pallets are for clients who have a lot of eyeshadows and blushes. Toss that pallet in your vanity drawer and you are good to go!

Well, what about compacts? Compacts are great if you only use a few colors or want to pop them into your purse. The compacts are a hard plastic "shell" with the pan glued into them (the pan does not come out) and they won't get broken inside your purse or luggage. They also have a little mirror and applicator for on-the-go and quick touch ups.

We hope this was helpful and if you ever have any questions please contact us at info@theperfectface.com and we will get back with you as soon as possible. Have a wonderful Monday!
